Strategy 1: Accelerating the Deployment of Key Application Services
This strategy focuses on connecting diverse application needs, international satellite services, and cross-domain field trials to transform next-generation communications R&D outcomes into validated applications and real-world service.
As 2025 marks the initial year of the Program, no projects were implemented under Strategy 1 during this period. Accordingly, activities in 2025 primarily focused on identifying application requirements, coordinating the transition of subsequent projects, and establishing cross-ministerial implementation mechanisms. Therefore, no individual project achievements are presented under this strategy for the reporting year.
Beginning in 2026, this strategy will be implemented through the Advanced Satellite Multi-Service Application Industry Development Project, led by the Administration for Digital Industries (ADI), Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA). The project will establish a multi-orbit, multi-constellation application service testing platform, promote the deployment of satellite-enabled key application services, and facilitate the expansion of cross-ministerial use cases. By integrating application scenarios across disaster prevention and response, maritime services, transportation, and communications in remote areas, the project aims to develop next-generation communications service models that are validated, scalable, and internationally exportable. These outcomes will constitute the primary achievements reported under this strategy in the coming years.
